This week at the Market, Saturday morning, May 28, 2018, the multi-talented Rev. Janet DeWater, pastor at the First Presbyterian Church of Mount Holly, will show us what's cooking in early summer. She moved cross-country to here with her husband last year from Redmond, WA, to become the new minister at the Presbyterian Church, but in her varied experiences, she formerly taught at the Wilton School! She lists "all things chocolate" among her passions, but for our Market she will give a free cooking demonstration followed by a tasting focusing on the flavors of early summer veggies, including salads and how to use bok choy. This week at the Market, Saturday, May 19, 2018, we will have Belmont's Specialty Foods as our program. Belmont's Specialty Foods is a new specialty food store in downtown Belmont which sells foods from around the world. They also sell foods from North & South Carolina and local food such as homemade meals to go from Ladyfingers, a catering business. For their program at the market this week, they will focus on local foods. This Week at the Market: 5-12-18

This week at the Market it's Opening Day! And it's the biggest Opening Day we have ever had, with 15 farmers and 2 artisans coming to the Market this Saturday, May 12, 2018, from 8:00 AM until noon. The Market will be in the same location as the last couple of years, at 226 S. Main St., Mount Holly, which is the parking lot of Manor on Main.
