This week at the Market, our Chef-in-Residence, Gina Guthrie will be giving a free cooking demonstration using fresh ingredients from our farmers. At the end of the cooking demonstration comes the fun part-- tasting! You can ask her questions about nutrition and cooking techniques and this is an easy way to try something new.
We will have plenty of meat this week. Riverbend Heritage Farm will be bringing chicken, pork, and beef. Suzie Q is bringing pork. Apple Orchard Farm is bringing beef and pork. Two Moons Farm is bringing beef, pork, chicken, and eggs. Lucky Fish is bringing fresh seafood.
Ladybug Bakery will be back with bread, and we missed her last week and are glad to have fresh bread back at the Market.
Hoffman Family Farms and Nature's Way will have seasonal produce. Thomas Family Farms will have goat cheeses, personal care products, and baked goods.
Hunter's Sauces will be back with delicious sauces to go with the meat.
We will have a local artisan selling birdhouses. In addition, Pam Reynolds will be a new artisan selling her drawings of the local schools, which is a great graduation gift. Good Wood will be selling handmade cutting boards.
