This week at the Market, Saturday, 8-11-18, we are celebrating National Farmer's Market Week! We will have live music from talented local artist, Jonathan Brackett, and we will have free homemade peach ice cream made by Scott Griffin. At the POP (Power of Produce) Club tent for kids, stop by from 9:00 AM until 11:00 and tell us why you love your market for a chance to win tote bags and get free stickers and temporary tattoos.
Did you see your Market featured in the newspaper? The Gaston Gazette wrote about our upcoming celebration this week in an article which you can read here.
We will also have the first apples of the season available for sale, as well as fresh & local beef, chicken, artisan breads and baked goods, produce, fish, & more! To see what the farmers are bringing this week and to ask questions and connect directly with your farmers and other friends of the Market, check out the Facebook group, Mount Holly Farmers Market- Farmers & Artisans.
With fall and back-to-school just around the corner, it's fun to take some time this Saturday to celebrate the community that is your local Farmers Market. Thank you for being a friend of the Market, and see you Saturday!
